SPORT SENSOR - MICRO USB CHARGING STATION

Customer Need

A sport team with over 100 players were each using a sensor to track information on the players. After each practice the chargers needed to be connected to a charging source to ensure they were ready for the second practice of the day, or the following day. Since these were custom designed the only way to charge these were with single micro usb charging cables.

Solution

CSC designed and fabricated a charging station that holds 40 sensor in each station. The sensors have indicator lights that display when a sensor is charging.

Success

The implementation of the charging station eliminated the spider web of charging cables to 3 simple power cords. Additionally it saved time before and after practices when retrieving or returning the sensors as they were aligned numerically.
