FILTRATION - WEB INSPECTION

Customer Need

The client was having an increase in defect in their production line and wanted a process to detect and report them.

Solution

CSC designed and fabricated a system that consisted of two 8K line scan cameras that were mounted on extrusion above the line with a corrosion resistant bar light mounted below the line. A stainless enclosure housed camera and light controllers for the custom vision program to perform the required inspections.

The system was able to detect the specified defects and almost completely eliminated any defective material being used in the final product.
